Subsea Systems

We have significant Feasibility, FEED and EPC(m) experience in the design, analysis, procurement and delivery of subsea flowlines, gathering pipelines, manifold, riser, umbilical and subsea systems for offshore field developments. Furthermore, we have been involved with many of the innovations in materials, installation techniques, and design methods that have taken place throughout the industry.

We are known to be involved in fast-track developments often times regarding complex under water systems, installation analysis and campaigns in varying water depths.

Pipeline Engineering

Pipeline Engineering is the bedrock of our work at Kairos Engineering . Pipeline systems are the interconnectors between many offshore and onshore facilities. The practicality of many projects is dependent on the pipelines, and as such, it significantly impacts on the feasibility and practicality of the project.

Kairos Engineering has extensive experience in the design and management of complex pipeline systems.

The pipeline work undertaken by Kairos Engineering covers all design engineering phases and can be subdivided into the following:

Facilities Engineering

Kairos Engineering understands that a well-engineered and managed asset allows our clients to maximise operational and maintenance efficiency over the asset life cycle. With in-house expertise covering key disciplines, we have a skills pool capable of going overboard to design or engineer a suitable solution ensuring optimum retrofit of process facilities. Strategies include initially laser survey, design package development and constructability studies suitable for brown field facility modification.

  • Development of Requisition, Procurement package management and fabrication, offshore construction including access specialists and commissioning support

Flow Assurance

Kairos Engineering has a well versed flow assurance team with experience in performing flow assurance analysis involving various fluid types. In addition, we have a deep knowledge in other specialist modelling techniques, including dynamic simulation, multiphase pipeline flows and emergency blowdown and we could provide support for other discipline engineering experts by offering a special blend of knowledge to deliver the most rigorous solutions and to provide clear, feasible design and mechanical completion recommendations.

The output of our Flow Assurance work enables constructible, installable and commissionable systems that minimise risks while maximising recovery from asset. Our flow assurance involvement includes modelling work on:

Project Management

At Kairos Engineering we apply project benchmarks and specialist Project Management methodology, knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.

The service initiates, plans, executes and closes the project by managing:

We regularly enhance our knowledge base by recruiting and training staff to continually deliver projects from concept selection through commissioning. Risk and project control procedures and methodologies forms part of the Kairos Engineering Project Management suite.

To enhance accuracy, safety, and efficiency in your oil and gas projects, Kairos Engineering provides fast, precise 3D laser scanning, delivering detailed as-built data that enables smarter, faster decision-making.

From offshore platforms and refineries to pipelines, our scans support design verification, construction, inspection, and maintenance, improving coordination, reducing risk, and increasing operational safety.
